Made in Germany, MOECK is by far the most popular brand in wood
recorders. Because we are professional performers and teachers, we know
that there is variation among wood recorders, we check each for tuning,
attack and tone quality. Then we make any corrections necessary before
presenting it to you for your inspection. Wood recorders (except for
those made of Maple or Pearwood) come with a maintenance kit. In
2005-2006 Moeck refined & improved both the Rottenburgh &
Rondo lines
with higher tuning standards, a new key system, modifications to tone &
response. The Rondo line now has an elegant baroque design with
exceptionally resonant low notes & easy speaking high notes. Rottenburgh’s have a new hard case with a nylon bag, the Rondo’s come in
a cotton pocketed case (except the basses).
